It’s difficult to find time to capture all those lessons you’d like to write down for your children, grandchildren and others. Then, there’s the challenge of figuring out how and where to store those thoughts, so everyone can find them, when the time is right. Passwords get lost or forgotten. Files get misplaced (or worse yet, accidentally deleted or thrown away). There’s an easier way.
Your Legacy Gift is securely stored and we’ll distribute your Legacy Notes, when the pre-arranged time is right.
What’s a Legacy Gift?
My Legacy Notes℠ is a service that enables you to record individual notes in audio recordings or in video form. Those recordings are your Legacy Notes. The Notes are digitally preserved for you. Your collection of Notes is provided as a Legacy Gift to your loved ones.
Your collection of Legacy Notes can cover a range of topics such as Integrity, Courage, Faith, Perseverance, and many other themes. It’s completely up to you.
An Enduring Connection
One of the aspects of your Legacy Gift is that your loved ones may not know you did this for them. It’s a wonderful way provide a heart-felt gift that they aren’t expecting. After all, they’re part of your legacy. Your Legacy Gift will provide a connection to you for years to come.
How Does the My Legacy Notes℠ Service Work?
It’s actually fairly easy. When you sign-up, we’ll establish your account and you’ll create a list of people to whom you’d like to send a Legacy Gift. That list of people is referred to as your “Audience Members.”
You’ll record your audio and/or video Legacy Notes, based on the package you’ve selected. Those Legacy Notes will be uploaded to our system. Then, simply designate which Notes go to which audience members in your list. You’ll also designate a person (your “Key Man”) who will contact us, when it’s time to distribute your Legacy Gift. That person may be a family member, friend, colleague, etc.
We’ll contact you periodically to ensure the contact information of your audience members and your Key Man is up to date. You’ll have access to our client portal, should you want to make any changes or updates. You can even add additional Notes and Audience Members over time.
Once we receive notice from your Key Man, we’ll send a video mailer to each of your audience members, informing them that you took the time to create a Legacy Gift specifically for them. That video mailer will include a unique Legacy Code, enabling them to log into the portal and access the Legacy Notes you designated for them.
Your audience members will have the option of downloading their Legacy Notes for free, or we can continue to store them in the portal to make it convenient for them to access and enjoy.
